At Active 24 Fitness and Leisure we endeavour to provide a wide range of classes for all our members. There are a wide variety of Galway gym classes all over the city, however, our friendly, professional staff are committed to ensuring you set realistic and focused goals that will help you stay motivated, and allow you to access the potential within. The ultimate three-in-one full-body workout. This class balances cardio, strength, and mobility into 3 segments. Each segment is strategically planned exercises to burn fat fast.

This class, done mostly vertically and without swimming, is suitable for all fitness levels. Aquafit is offered in a group fitness class setting and focuses on aerobic endurance, resistance training and creating an enjoyable atmosphere.

An exercise class that mixes traditional calisthenic and body weight exercises with interval and strength training.

This circuit class trains the whole body by using boxing style stations and techniques. Time flies as you work on body movement, agility and momentum. If you stick with the boxercise workout you’ll get fit and enhance muscle definition, without the bulk. It’s a great way for relieving stress too!

Interval based workout combining strength training and endurance. A high volume but low resistance class.

This class is designed to build core muscle groups by performing a variety of exercises that strengthen the abdomen and back muscles.

This class includes various bodyweight and weight exercises to increase overall strength. This includes a series of stretches to help with flexibility, range of motion, balance, and posture.

The combination of cardio, strength and power creates a class which aims to improve many aspects of fitness all at once. By using these three components of physical fitness, members will get a high-intensity class which will burn calories as well as increase their levels of strength.

Training is a High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) program that has been scientifically proven to help increase endurance and performance for your cardiovascular and muscular systems.

Your workout of the day- Be prepared to dig deep and push hard. The WOD combines effective high intensity training and strength work in an encouraging and motivating environment.

Classes are offered by Gaby of YogaYoga. The classes are an intense form of yoga taught in a heated room. This class is designed for all levels of students from absolute beginners to the advanced practitioner. This is a paid class.

24 hour gym with studios as well as sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and pool (and more). My partner and I have been a member of this gym for almost two years, so handy to be able to go whenever we want!
